Jeremy Brummitt:

“I felt that she was the nicest filly in the sale. Great frame, strength, a very good mover and a lovely kind disposition.

The Grey Gatsby may be remembered as a tough and consistent racer at the highest level: the best son of his sire Mastercraftsman; but few will be familiar with his limited profile as a stallion. He has covered a limited number of poor mares since retiring to stud, but half of his runners have won and a surprisingly high percentage have earned black type: 4%. This has resulted in his fee rising by 50%.

Most pertinently two of those black type earners were produced by the dam of this filly and a third full sibling was rated at the equivalent of OR mid 80’s after her maiden win. This mare has produced another black type horse by the short lived German stallion Campanologist and all eight of her foals have raced and won. They have proved durable and whilst some were at a low level, they were by poor sires such as Elvstroem and Rio de la Plata.

This lovely filly will appreciate rapidly if she can replicate her full siblings performances.”
